The mesh lets through soft bits but blocks chunks, and I love that I can toss in a slice of banana without dicing it into tiny pieces first. My baby chews away happily while I actually get to eat my own meal for once.

My little one went straight for this the moment I handed it over, and the mesh really does let only the tiniest bits through—I watched her gum a strawberry with zero worry. It’s washed up easily after every use, which matters when you’re doing this three times a day.

The handle is easy to grip with a messy baby, and the mesh lets small pieces through without any choking worries. My little one went through a whole pear slice without me having to cut it up into tiny cubes first.
